How it works
Zoom is a video conferencing platform that can be used through a computer desktop or mobile app, and allows users to connect online for video conference meetings, webinars and live chat. During the Covid19 crisis, Zoom has seen a surge in popularity, with millions of people using it to stay in touch with others.
Using Zoom requires an internet connection and a supported device. Most new users will want to start by creating an account and downloading the Zoom Client for Meetings. You can download the Zoom app for free on your phone, tablet or computer. In your internet browser, enter https://zoom.us/. At the top-right of the page, click RESOURCES then click Download Zoom Client. You can also directly access the Download Center. Under Zoom Client for Meetings, click the Download button.
